Many management consultants around the world have advice that everyone in the corporate world can benefit from, yet they think social media is "only for young people". With a scattered base of current followers, we were starting from zero.
How We Got There
Pre - Production
First, we had to establish an industry baseline and understand what kind of content is working and what is not working, then how can we take topics that are already trending and make them better.
We developed a strategy associated with our findings; the plan contained a content calendar and framework for topics.
We agreed we wanted to make "The Defender" as authentic as possible and engage the audience with changes in backdrops/locations for each episode.
We inserted questions at the beginning of each episode to encourage comments/shares to minimize the usage of paid advertising.
We post the final product to Linkedin with an engaging copy prompting the audience with a question to provoke thought and interest in watching "The Defender". The show was an instant hit, and community management was a must! Our favourite comment was "I enjoy watching the Defender over GaryVee because it is more practical and actionable tips and information.
